FALL SESSION PROGRAMS at Kennett Friends Meeting

CPA Singers

 

Grades 6-12

Tuesdays, 6:30-7:30

​

In this performance ensemble, we will push our musical limits with multi-part harmonies, rounds, & incorporation of movement + choreography.

The ensemble will also delve into singing a cappella, improving music literacy, & music arranging, as well as having performance opportunities & much more!

​

Previous group singing experience is suggested.

Jr. Singers

Grades 3-5

Tuesdays, 5:30-6:15

​

In this program, the group takes on more of an ensemble feel with focus on singing with full voice, breath support, blending, pitch accuracy,  & choreography including some multi-cultural folk dances.  Here we will also begin experimenting with singing harmony as a group.

​

Music Enrichment

​

Grades PK-2

Tuesdays, 5-5:30

​

This half hour class focuses on:

singing, pitch accuracy, steady pulse, & songwriting.

 

Class also includes:

song games, creative movement, as well as body awareness + mindfulness.

Includes a performance on December 7th

& holiday party with caroling on December 13th
